Hen Parties, Baby Showers, and private functions

At The Parlour we will help you celebrate all special occasions. Baby showers, hen parties, birthday parties, christenings and anniversarys.

We will decorate The Parlour for your celebration and cater with afternoon tea.

Afternoon Tea includes, Finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, biscuits and themed cupcakes. And plenty of coffee and tea. At a cost of £15 per person.

You can have add on cupcake decorating if you wish at an extra cost.

For small groups you can hold your party in opening hours or outside or the parlours hours. Bigger events will be opened when the parlour is shut. For bigger events we can cater for up to 50 people if you wish for people to pay for their own coffee then it is £10 per person. Or contact us for drink packages.

Extra little add ons for each occasion…..

Hen Parties: We will decorate your tables and cupcakes for your party and the Hen gets a lovely box as a wedding keepsake box all hens can add a lovely wish letter for the bride to keep. We can add fun party games too….. please note we can not sell alcohol but feel free to bring your own bubbles!!

Baby Shower: We will decorate your shower with baby theme cupcakes and the mummy to be will recieve a lovely book so her guests can add well wishes for the baby and add photos of the afternoon. A lovely keepsake for the baby.

Adult Birthdays: The party will be decorated with fun sprinkles and poppers!! And each person goes home with their own party bag !! cant let children just have all the fun :)

Christening and Anniversary Party: Decorated with balloons and sprinkles to match the theme. You will also recieve a guest book for all your guests to put special messages in to celebrate your occasion.

Childrens Birthday parties

We hold our childrens birthday parties on a Sunday at The Parlour.
Our parties are fun and include everything to make your childs day special.
The price of the party is £10 per child.
Which includes:
A box of 4 cupcakes to decorate, and then take home (no need for party bags)
Your child learns to colour buttercream using colour pastes.
Learn to make pretty decorations using cutters, moulds and also roses by hand.
All your childrens drinks.
All the party food, which includes pizza or sandwichs, and yummy sweet treats.

Min 10 max 20 children.
Our partys book up very quickly so booking earlier is advised. £10 deposit secures your date.

Dont forget to order your childs birthday cake :)

Events At The Parlour

Childrens Morning
Every Tuesday morning (term time) 11-12pm
£3 per child. For preschool children. This includes a drink and cupcake/biscuit and activity for the child. Each week we will set up a different fun activity. This is not a playschool so parents have to stay with their child. Come and join us and have a coffee and cake yourself. Lovely way to spend a Tuesday morning.

Knitting And Crochet Group
Every wednesday 10.30-11.30 am we hold a knitting and crochet group. There is no cost for the group and you can come as many times as you like no booking just turn up. If you cant knit come and learn lots of people to help you. Great friendly group.

Last Friday Of the Month
Every Last fridy of the month 1.15 – 2.45pm. Helen holds a Slingmeet. If your a new mum or a mum/dad that loves to use slings with your baby pop by and try out different slings. No cost for the group.

Saturday 28th April
10-4pm
Little Impressions will be in store taking prints of your babys hands and feet. The prints are castings and a wonderful keepsake.Especially with fathers day coming up. Please get in contact for some more information. There is a discount for peopple who pre book.
